Please join us for an evening of food, friends, music and stories from our visit to the Sri Ram Orphanage and School. On June 21st, Langara Yoga Teachers Program and Alumni will be holding a fundraising event, which will feature a silent auction, for Sri Ram Orphanage and School.According to UNICEF, there are 31 million orphaned children in India. Sri Ram Foundation http://sriramfoundation.org/ was created, in the Uttarakand State of Northern India, to provide a loving home for some of these abandoned and destitute children. Through education, the children of Sri Ram and the surrounding rural area find a path out of poverty into bright and fulfilling futures.
