Look who is coming to Langara College Holistic Health on Nov. 28 and 29

It’s Swami Maheshan and from the Bihar School of Yoga, now a Wandering Yogi, touring and teaching all over the world, returns to Vancouver. Langara College is honoured to have him come.

Chakra: Psych-Physiological Aspects and Chakra Dharana Programs Friday night – Explore the relationship between body and mind through the Chakras. suggested $20 donation Sat. Workshop – 1:00 to 6:00pm – Learn about different dimensions and aspects of the Chakra system with a combination of practice to experience them in our own reality. Cost: $60. Also his Evolutionary Astrology readings are available on the 27th and 28th during the day, 10:00 to 3:00pm.

Swami Maheshananda Saraswati is a wandering yogi who travels both nationally and internationally to conduct seminars and workshops on yoga. He was born in Raipur, India, in 1970.

He completed the Yoga Teacher Training Course from the Bihar School of Yoga in 1994 and since then, has been actively involved in teaching yoga. In 1998 he successfully completed an M.A. in Yoga Philosophy from Bihar Yoga Bharati, the first University of Yoga in the world. He has taught the philosophical and practical aspects of Yoga and Tantra at the post graduate and undergraduate levels at Bihar Yoga Bharati as a Lecturer of the Yoga Philosophy Department from 1998 to 2005.

His approach to teaching Yoga and Tantra is a welcome contribution to humanity that is treasured by many.
