Praying for this guy Anthony and others like him who are stricken with ALS and various other “orphan” illnesses in which there is sadly so little funding.
Praying for a cure! There is nothing worse than watching your loved one (s) deteriorate and lose function while staying mentally “intact”.
It really is devastating for all involved and so hard to watch, but nothing is more important than beiing there for our loves ones because all of our lives are so uncertain everyday.
And they need us. And one day we will need help and suport as well.
Anthony says: (And it’s true).
“Nobody talks about it because it’s so challenging to watch,” he says. “Nobody wants to see a depressing person that’s dying, that has two to five years to live. They don’t want to talk about it, they don’t want their day ruined.”
